It would be safe to say that you've heard about the Cookie Diet; if not, then you better read on and learn everything you can about this new health innovation that will surely help you set your path straight toward getting rid of your excess weight without the stress.
What Is This Diet?
This diet program, as the term itself implies, helps an individual get rid of their excess weight through the use of highly-nutritious fat-free cookies. Most of the causes of weight gain is through the intake of fatty and unhealthy food that eventually make their way into our system in-between meals.
The aim of the Cookie Diet is to act as a substitute for high-calorie snacks that can be detrimental to our perfect figures, as well as adding to a health problem if you're already suffering from it. This program involving smart cookie diet involves the intake of 6 nutritious cookies a day plus a hearty meal at night for it to work wonders on your system.
Smart For Life
The name for the Cookie Diet that is known in health circles and organizations today is Smart for Life. The use of cookies for weight loss was discovered and invented by Dr. Siegel; but the integration of other methods comes with the appearance of Dr. Moulavi into the mix.
Smart for Life integrates the use of the smart cookie diet, as well as other healthy food, such as muffins, soups, shakes, and other nutritious combinations, to ensure that your body is getting enough nutrients without the fear of gaining weight.
Consult an Expert
As tempting as it might sound, for those who want to get rid of their excess weight through the use of Dr Diet Cookie as the main solution, this method requires medical consultation first to avoid side-effects. Keep in mind that these cookies are made according to the original recipe of Dr. Siegel, so there is a possibility that some of the rare ingredients not found in normal cookies might cause allergic reactions and adverse effects to an individual's body.
Despite the fear that this diet might be harmful to one's health, many who have tried the cookie diet found out that it worked flawlessly for them. Eating six cookies a day ensures that you have enough nutrients to help your body last for the whole day without tiring itself out. It also guarantees that you won't get hungry afterward and will not force you to eat more than you can possibly handle.

You are here because you want a suitable method for first place weight loss right? Well look no further. I have been eating healthy and doing weight training for over a year now and I will tell you exactly how it is for first place weight loss without holding back. Prepare yourself!
First Place Weight Loss - The Truth About the Gym After spending a solid year in the gym and seeing many people come and go to achieve first place weight loss there is one KEY thing I have noticed. People jump on the cardio machines and just have it on a low setting and just crawl along, don't even break and sweat and in some cases yawn and even talk on their mobile phone! What on earth is up with that? Here is the ultimate truth: IF YOU ARE AT THE GYM YOU SHOULD BE DRIPPING WITH SWEAT AND GASPING FOR AIR. If you do not follow that then you will never get first place weight loss at the gym.
To get fantastic first place weight loss you really need to set the machine as high as it can go without passing out. Your heart should be racing through the roof 90% of the time, you should be breathing heavily and when you have finished the gym session your shirt should be COATED in sweat. If these three criteria are not met then you are simply wasting your time and not achieving first place weight loss.
First Place Weight Loss - The Truth About Dieting Want to know something that will annoy the hell out of you? I eat over 3000 calories per day and I am only 5'8 and my body weight stays at 12 stone (lots of it is muscle). I also eat whatever I feel like on weekends which includes takeaways and chocolate. Want to know why I can do this without ballooning out? It is because I STICK TO MY DIET PLAN and I make sure I GET THE MOST OUT OF MY GYM SESSIONS.
Time and time again I see people looking for a quick fix to their first place weight loss but they seem to be unable to stick to a first place weight loss diet for more than a couple of weeks. They DO lose weight during that short time period on their next new radical diet plan they found online but their body tells them it is a terrible first place weight loss system - thus they start snacking to fill the 'void' and then they go back to their old diet. This cycle, which lacks first place weight loss, goes on forever and ever.
All I can suggest is make your OWN diet plan. Ignore the nonsense about all saturated fat being bad for you. This is absolutely false and will compromise your first place weight loss. Saturated fat in milk and cheese is perfectly fine and is actually a critical nutrient for an optimum body. Fats being evil and bad is a just advertising fed to you by the vegetarian industry but that's a whole other article! The fat that IS bad for first place weight loss however are some forms of polyunsaturated fat. I will let you do research on the topic as I am going a bit off balance here!
A Good Summary of First Place Weight Loss - Find a fitness plan and STICK TO IT FOR A MONTH WITHOUT FAIL. Always attend the gym in your allocated slots, do NOT turn on the TV and think 'ill go a bit later' because YOU WILL END UP NOT GOING! If you are not getting the results you want then try a different one after a month.
- Invent your own diet plan. Healthy food throughout the weekdays then binge on whatever you want on weekends for first place weight loss.
You will achieve first place weight loss in no time at all.

This article has been provided by guest author Kyle Wood known as one of the best among up and coming Melbourne personal trainers. Kyle has a keen interest in new and more effective training for himself and his clients and he believes exercise should contribute to your life and make it more fruitful rather than detract from it. He currently runs a blog in his spare time called Kyles Fitness Facts so take a look there if you want to know more...
Exercise for Fat Loss
Diet is very important when losing weight. The best training system in the world cannot out do a terrible diet filled with junk food, irregular meals and no veggies. However, as you reduce your caloric intake your body adapts to that caloric intake and the weight loss will plateau. This is where a lot of people will give up, however for those who continue, more calories must be cut and so on. This reaches a point where the calories are cut so low that you begin to starve your body.
A better solution to making that second cut in calories (or even the first) is to add exercise. If you are already exercising regularly then I suggest adding more intense workouts to your training schedule. Here are some great ideas (that can all be done without a gym membership):
Sprint Intervals
Find your local track or oval (soccer pitches work excellent). Start off by doing one or two laps to warm up and then follow this cycle:
- Jog 50m
- Sprint 50m
- Walk 50m
Repeat this 4 times. Each week add an additional cycle until you reach 10 cycles. When you can do that move onto something new.
Note: A full size soccer pitch is 50m wide and 100m long so you can complete 2 cycles in one lap.
Circuit Training:
Im not talking about walking around in a circuit on weight machines for 30 minutes, Im talking all out circuits that will get your heart pumping through your chest and your fat cells dropping like flies. For these circuits you will need a railing or play equipment bar about 1.2m (4 feet) off the ground and a low bench or steps.
Circuit 1:
- Feet elevated push up x12 (on knees if unable to do on toes)
- Bodyweight squat x12
- Crunches x 12
- Butt Kick Jumps x12
Repeat 2 times before moving onto circuit two
Circuit 2:
- Burpees x10
- Inverted row (on railing) x10
- Forward Walking Lunges x5
- Reverse Walking Lunges x5
- Pushups x10
Repeat 2 times. Each week add an extra circuit to one of the circuits until you reach a total of 10 circuits.
Hill Sprints
Find a small hill. Sprint to the top, walk back down, rinse, repeat. You will be amazed at how awesome this simple activity is for cardiovascular fitness and fat shedding. Do this 5 times and then add an extra sprint each week.
Remember to warm up thoroughly beforehand and then warm down and stretch afterwards. This applies when doing any exercise.
You want more?
If you work your way up to doing all of that in a week then you can add low intensity recovery cardiovascular work to your off days. This kind of exercise is excellent at promoting blood to muscles to aid in recovery from your previous workouts. Good ideas are swimming, bike riding or brisk walks with your partner/family/dog.
Give these high intensity techniques a go. Stick to them for at least 6 weeks before you truly give them your analysis. I believe by then you will be addicted to high intensity training. Not only will they help you lose weight faster but you will also have more energy and feel more alert. Before I go, some great fun facts:
- Muscle requires more energy to exist, so the more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism.
- 20-30 minutes high intensity training burns more total energy (calories) over 24 hours than 60 minutes of low-moderate total training.
- Recent studies are continuing to show that the lactic acid system (shorter bursts of energy like sprinting and circuits) is a far greater channel for fat oxidizing (fat burning) than the aerobic study (longer low intensity training) which might explain why sprinters are so ripped.

How to lose weight- I get many emails from women over 40 asking this question. At this age the unwanted body fat often accumulates on the stomach.
Are you over 40? Do you want to lose belly fat? You'll frequently receive the advice to do crunches and other exercises aiming at the abdominal muscles. Will these exercises answer the question "How to lose weight?"
It appears to be logical- if you are exercising a body part, the fat on this particular body part will get less. But the way we are burning fat does not work like that.
There is no spot fat reduction. Where you will increase weight and where you lose it depends on your constitution, it s in the genes. Over 40 this genetic program is getting stronger and stronger. Especially in women over 40 the genetic program often leads to building up fat on top of the stomach- urging them to ask: How to lose weight?
"I want to lose belly fat" is something I hear very often- but, unfortunately, it is not possible to lose fat on a body part. All we can do is to get an overall lean body (what is an ever better outcome anyway than just lose belly fat).
If you ask yourself: How to lose weight- are crunches effective? Crunches are great to tone the core muscles around your belly. To get a nicely shaped figure, numerous exercises for the ab muscles will help you achieve that. I recommend to do some exercises for the lower back muscles as well, to make the whole midsection strong. This will improve posture and prevent lower back pain. For many over 40 back pain is rather common- our sedentary life style adds to that greatly.
In comparison crunches are not the most time-efficient thing to do when you want to lose weight. The belly muscles are relatively small, so if you spend 15 minutes on crunches you burn much fewer calories as if you'd spend 15 minutes exercising your leg muscles. Your leg muscles are much bigger and will burn more calories in the same time. If you are asking yourself: How to lose weight than crunches won't help you much.
So: Don't do crunches to lose belly fat over 40, do crunches to tone up your core.
In this short article I gave you some ideas on how to lose weight.

Losing weight is full of obstacles these days. The availability of fattening food demands good choices. The main stumbling block is inconvenience. It's not convenient to be on a diet. Especially in the fast paced world we live in. Making wise food choices can be easier than you think if you arm yourself with convenient food that's scientifically designed for weight loss.
Healthy food is composed of high fiber, high protein, and most importantly, they're low glycemic. The protein and fiber fill you up and keep you feeling full and the low glycemic carbs release energy slowly and maintain balanced blood sugar levels. How do you consistently meet those healthy eating guidelines if you're not a health nut or dietician? The most convenient way to meet these guidelines is in the form of bars and shakes that are specifically designed for this reason.
Ideally, if you can start the day with a low glycemic shake that is high in protein and fiber, you will be giving yourself a huge jump-start. Permanent weight loss is about changing eating habits. A morning shake is an easy habit to get into and it can make the most difference. It's true what they say: "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day". Make it a good one.
That brings me to lunch (and in-between snacks). My solution is a balanced meal replacement bar if time is short and you have no healthy lunch options. If you're going to eat lunch then I recommend eating a healthy snack an hour or two before lunch. Try fresh fruit or even a half of a meal bar. That way you won't over-eat and you can even save money by ordering less.
Don't block yourself from shedding unwanted weight. Shed old eating habits and swing the pendulum back toward a healthier look and feel. Make it healthy. Make it right, with convenient bars and shakes scientifically designed for weight loss.
